Recepturu tohoto 6,8% WCIPA jsme v průběhu let vylepšovali a upravovali a s Big Stupid Westy V6 to cítíme! Nedávno jsme se vydali do Kalifornie na Firestone Walker Invitational, abychom načepovali pivo. Hodně jsme se inspirovali super svěžími, libovými, světlými a rozdrcenými moderními pivy ze západního pobřeží, kterých se tým na cestě nemohl nabažit.
S V6 jsme vytvořili kulatou, pryskyřičnou hořkost, silný mozaikový whirlpool a chmelový dip, vše v kombinaci s úžasnou čtyřsměrnou suchou chmelovou kombinací Krush, Nectaron, Chinook a Columbus pro silné, hluboké, vlhké aroma černého pepře, pryskyřice a pomerančové kůry. Očekávejte suchý závěr s mírnou hořkostí a sladkostí, s příchutí lepkavých bonbonů, grapefruitu a angreštu.

We’ve been tweaking and adapting the recipe for this 6.8% WCIPA over the years, and we’re feeling it with Big Stupid Westy V6! We recently took a trip to California to pour at the Firestone Walker Invitational. We took a great deal of inspiration from the super crisp, lean, pale and crushable modern West Coast beers that the team couldn’t get enough of on the trip.
What we’ve created with V6 is a rounded, resinous bittering, a big Mosaic whirlpool and hop dip, combined with a beastly four-way dry hop combo of Krush, Nectaron, Chinook and Columbus for strong, deep, dank black pepper, resin and orange peel aromas. Expect a dry finish with mild bitterness and sweetness, with flavours of sticky candy, grapefruit and gooseberry.
